Welcome to the Australian Acreage & Property Review magazine.

What started out originally as a small concept in the mid 90’s to fill a much needed void in the market, has developed significantly, particularly over the past few years. Under the direction of new management, we’ve seen Australian Acreage & Property Review grow from a bi-monthly issue to a monthly publication to keep up with advertising demand, the injection of a major facelift with regard to layout and design and have witnessed a steady increase in both market share and client base.

I’m sure you are familiar with the ever increasing trend of a sea/tree change.  It’s now a well known fact that more and more city dwellers are choosing to either downsize to a smaller area or are looking to escape the hustle and bustle and as such are bidding farewell to city life and heading to coastal or country communities.

According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) one in five Australians now live outside our capital cities and whilst this population drift was once traditionally reserved for retirees, the ABS figures also reveal that four out of five people who have recently relocated to regional areas were under the age of 50.

And this trend is set to continue.
